Dr. Kim C. Tran

Dr. Kim C. Tran

Dr. Tran is certified in Nutrition, along with Sports Nutrition and Performance. She received her dual Bachelor of Arts degrees with honors at California State University Long Beach. Dr. Tran received her Doctor of Chiropractic with honors from Northwestern Health Sciences University. She was honored to be the recipient of the Diversity Scholarship at Northwestern for her passion for volunteering and serving underserved populations.

Previously to joining Team Chiropractic, Dr. Tran worked in litigation followed by marketing and practice consulting before following her passion to help people through chiropractic. While working at the law firm, Dr. Tran suffered with sciatica due to prolonged sitting. She found relief through chiropractic care. A few years later, she went rollerblading with her dog and had a bad fall – slamming her tailbone against the concrete. Barely being able to move, she went to a chiropractor daily in order to get back to functioning within one week.

Dr. Tran has volunteered as a chiropractor in Costa Rica as part of La Clinica de la Mariposa. She was also blessed for the opportunity to provide chiropractic care in Vietnam, while also volunteering at two different orphanages in Saigon. While in Vietnam, she developed scoliosis protocols as the primary physician. Dr. Tran was blessed to have her own practice in Minnesota specializing in nutrition and functional medicine. She has helped patients to manage autoimmune disorders, menopause, lose weight, and get off medications. Dr. Tran is grateful to continue sharing her passion for chiropractic, nutrition and functional medicine with all the patients at Team Chiropractic.

Dr. Tran is an avid sports enthusiast and has been a fitness instructor for over 9 years. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages, from babies to elderly, achieve their optimum health and giving back to the community.

My Passion for Chiropractic

As a child, I was readily giving massages to my parents, who worked hard as laborers, and to my relatives. (Very smart of my parents.) I enjoyed being able to make people feel better. When I was a teenager, I found out that my Grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. My Grandma was always vibrant and loving, and it was hard to see her lose her strength and energy as the cancer progressed. On a trip up north to visit my Grandma with my Mom, I gave her a massage onto her bald head, neck, and back. She had felt the relief from pain and the comfort of being cared for. During our last conversation that we had together, she said that I was blessed with strong hands and I should use them with the purpose to heal. My Grandma passed that winter, and her words have lived steadily in my heart. I feel blessed that I can keep my promise to her through giving back to others through chiropractic. Always in my heart & soul.

Dr. Ben Mohar

Dr. Ben Mohar joins Team Chiropractic after having previously practiced in Northern Virginia. During his time in NoVA, Dr. Mohar treated hundreds of patients, along with serving as part of the medical staff for both the Western Suburbs Rugby team and Virginia Renegades semi-pro football team.

Dr. Mohar grew up in Cary and received his undergraduate degree in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a 4 year starter for UNC Rugby, where he constantly exposed his body to injury and pain. Although Dr. Mohar had been to a Chiropractor as a child, it was the desire to recover from injury and stay on the field that led him to rediscover Chiropractic and all that it had to offer. His personal success with Chiropractic care led him to enroll at Sherman College of Chiropractic, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Mohar is excited to bring his expertise and passion for restoring optimal function and health to the Triangle community.
