Meet the Doctors

Dr. Lawrence Dodd

raleigh chiropractor dr doddDr. Dodd is a former Chiropractic Consultant to the N.C. State University Athletic Department, USAW Olympic Weightlifting (Team Savannah), and has worked with many professional athletes.

He is also the former chairman of the Sports Injury Council, and a former president of the Eastern District of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Dodd entered the Chiropractic profession with an impressive educational background. He has ten years of concentrated undergraduate and graduate work. In addition, he has two years of intensive post-doctorate study. He holds three degrees: A Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis in Ergonomics (Human Factors Engineering), a Master of Science in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in prevention and care of athletic injury, and a Doctor of Chiropractic with an emphasis in extremity manipulation and pediatrics. His post-doctorate hours include board certifications in CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) and CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner).

Dr. Dodd is dedicated to improving your health and performance by alleviating joint dysfunction and nerve stress caused by spinal misalignment (subluxations). He holds weekly health care workshops which are open to the public and are designed to help people learn how to naturally improve their level of health. Dr. Dodd also lectures to schools, church groups, and other organizations on health-related topics.


Personal Information

Dr. Dodd is a Raleigh native and a graduate of Millbrook High School, where he excelled in football and track. While attending North Carlina State University on a football scholarship, Dr. Dodd suffered a career-ending neck injury. The injury introduced him to the field of Chiropractic Sports Medicine, a blessing in disguise, which changed his direction in life.

Dr. Dodd and his wife Ginny delight in their five children, three girls and two boys. They are actively involved in their church with the children’s and men’s ministries. Dr. Dodd serves as a board member of the local chapter of Priority Associates, Hearts Revived Ministry, and the Finley YMCA. He also serves as Chaplain for the Triangle chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and is a graduate of Bible Study Fellowship.


Dr. Matthew Crilley


Raleigh Chiropractor Dr. CrilleyDr. Crilley entered the chiropractic profession with eight years of concentrated undergraduate and graduate work. He holds two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Excercise and Sport Science from Penn State, and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. His post-doctorate hours include board certification in CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioners), working toward his CACCP (Pediatric Certification), and classes on whiplash case management, extremity manipulation and sports injury management, applied anatomy, and pediatrics.

Personal Information

Dr. Crilley is a native of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. His introduction to the field of chiropractic came from a guest lecturer in one of his undergraduate classes at Penn State. Hearing the lecture prompted him to spend time with that doctor and learn the “true meaning of health and wellness for the human body.” Dr. Crilley then set his sights on chiropractic school. He now strives to empower people to live healthier lives.

Dr Crilley’s wife, Amy, is a preschool teacher at their church where they are both actively involved. They are blessed with two children and look forward to raising their family here in the Raleigh area, as Dr. Crilley is passionate about leading other families to wellness and health. He holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 1st degree Black Belt in Hap Ki Do.



Dr. John Baird

Dr. Baird is the youngest and most recent addition to our team. He enters the chiropractic profession with 8 years of concentrated undergraduate and graduate studies. Dr. Baird holds a bachelors degree in Health and Wellness and a Doctorate of Chiropractic, receiving both degrees from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas Texas.


Personal Information

Born in Batesville Arkansas and raised by his blessed grandparents, Dr. Baird began chiropractic care at a young age. Dr. Baird suffered from Transient Ischemic Attacks during his childhood and was lucky to have grandparents who took him to the chiropractor for treatment. From his amazing experiences with his chiropractor, Dr. Baird knew from an early age he wanted to be a chiropractor.

Dr. Baird has long been perfecting his tactile skills. He has been a musician since he was eight years old and has twice held the title of Arkansas State Champion Old Time Fiddler. As an artist, craftsman, and chiropractor, Dr. Baird has developed the confident hands of an experienced practitioner.

Dr. Baird met and fell in love with his wife, Dr. Jessica Baird, while they were both studying at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas Texas. They are blessed with one child. Dr. Baird shows his passion for optimizing others’ experience of life through his warm personality, and his commitment to patient health through family chiropractic care.
