The 4th Essential to Optimal Health and Wellness is Exercising in Alignment. Exercising properly has many proven health benefits such as Improved heart function, lower blood pressure, reduced body fat, increased bone mass, decrease in “Bad” cholesterol, Increased “Good” cholesterol, increased energy levels, balanced hormone production, enhanced sleep, increased stress tolerance, elimination of toxins, reduction in depression, controlling or preventing blood sugar problems and decreased risk of injury to the muscles, joints and spine. The most common excuses people give for not getting enough exercise are the belief that they don’t have time, exercise is boring, and exercise is painful. The Max T3 program eliminates all 3 excuses by providing a super effective workout in just 12-15 minutes per day. T3 equals Time, type and tempo. The best way to ensure that you stick to your exercise routine is finding your “Big Why”. Having a goal to reach retirement age with energy and good health so that you can enjoy life is a much bigger why than just wanting to lose weight and look good in a bathing suit!

Health essential number 3 is the nutritional alignment. We should all be eating 75% “on the vine” foods and avoiding processed and artificial foods. Every year more and more health problems are being linked to chronic inflammation in the body. Many fruits and vegetables are known to decrease inflammation while processed foods high in sugar and trans fats create inflammation in the body. Inflammation leads to pain which leads to muscle spasms and ultimately subluxations. To get the maximum benefit from your weekly chiropractic adjustments make sure to “adjust” your diet as well.

The second essential to optimal health and wellness is Physical Alignment. A properly functioning nervous system is an essential component in health and wellness and is dependant upon the proper physical alignment of the spine. Only spinal re-engineering chiropractors focus on true spinal correction backed up by post x-rays. We recommend weekly re-engineering adjustments until x-ray correction is achieved. Remember, to get the most out of your adjustments you must maintain good posture practices, do daily traction and recommended neck-ups/superman flying exercises every day. The first of the 6 essentials to optimal health and wellness is Spiritual/Mental Alignment. I recommend that everyone starts their day with 15 minutes of prayer and meditation. This has been shown to remove stress that causes many health problems including subluxation. I find that starting my day this way helps me to focus on what’s really important and opens my heart to what I am called to do. So start your day in prayer, with a daily devotion or reading your Bible, you will be glad you did!
